Configuring a U.S.
Robotics modem as a
local modem
To configure the modem to be used at the A/B switch, power
up the modem and follow these steps.
Power off the modem and set the DIP switches to their final
setting (shown in boldface) as follows.

through RS-232 cable, and
power on the modem.
