 Sometimes the SATA emulators do not wake up

correctly by COMWAKE and need a PHY reset to

wake up. As tested this issue happens rarely.

 In SAS initiator if a handshake to a received frame is

deferred via error injection, a wrong task command is

issued.

 (External Trigger Out – only Sierra M6-x) The external

trigger out can be only be programmed once per each

run.

 At 6G speed and higher, state transitions can only

happen every other DWORD in the Jammer. In other

speeds, rarely some back-to-back DWORD state

transitions might be missed.

 On Windows 7 and higher, the API examples are

located in a different folder than in Windows XP, as

follows:

o Windows 7 and higher:

 SATA Compliance tests: Phy Test group and Host

Compliance tests are Informative only. These tests,

and the MOI describing them (included in this

release), have not been approved by the SATA-IO.

 SATA Compliance tests, clarification to the MOI: many

of the tests REQUIRE the DUT be powered through

the Power Expansion Card in the analyzer, and will fail

otherwise.

 SAS Verification Tests: Most of these tests were

implemented according to test descriptions developed

by the UNH-IOL. However, no formal body is available

to approve such tests, so they are on Informative

status only.

 SAS Verification Ttests: Tests 6.7.1.16 and 6.7.1.17

were removed from this release. We are reviewing

the tests and results in order to ensure that the results

are consistent.

 In order for the analyzer to be detected, Ethernet

connector needs to be connected before switching

analyzer on (Sierra M6-4, Sierra M6-2 and Sierra M6-

1).

 (CrossSync) Segmented memory is not supported in

conjunction with CrossSync.

 (Installation) Can’t install SAS and SATA Protocol

Suites into a user-defined directory in Windows XP

Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Please install into the

default path. This will be fixed in a future release.

 Following issues and restrictions pertain specifically to

the Sierra M124, and will be addressed in a future

release:

o No support for self-test

o Number of segments in a recording is limited to 1
